This is fact: 100% of the time when we initially speak with someone they’ll want one of three big things — to lose weight, tone up, feel better.
These are commonly described as ‘RESULTS‘.
A person is usually starting from a place of not feeling too good, lacking energy, carrying some weight, feeling self-conscious, weak etc.
…..Which improves with (of course) following some simple steps, with consistency.
Three months, six months, twelve months down the line, that very same person isn’t thinking about ‘results’. They’re seeking to ENJOY fitness as an important part of their lifestyle.
And a huge part of that is liking the people you work alongside on this journey. Knowing you’ll have a chat, have fun, be welcomed, be challenged, be supported, by your peers (whom you can relate to).
**It’s easier to cross the threshold in this space. Meaning you’ll turn up more.**
I’m confident most will have experienced the flip side of this environment:
Meaning you’ve probably taken part in a class/session where no-one spoke to you, you felt isolated, it was one-size-fits-all, you didn’t know what you were doing, the coach may have even made you feel silly.
>>>> (yes, this happens!)
Humans are naturally pack animals that love to belong to a tribe of similar people, with whom they feel safe. That’s why we focus a lot on creating a welcoming and friendly community.
People don’t succeed because of meal plans. They succeed because of ‘the group’.
Best wishes,
Kevin.
