Thinking About Exercise Is Dangerous.

You might think I’ve lost the plot – surely we SHOULD be thinking about health, exercise, fitness — It’s important right?
But let me please explain…….
How busy are we in today’s world: job, kids, grandkids, parties, DIY, events, social media, meals, family issues …..
There’s a LOT going on.
AND — we’re supposed to factor exercise into this heady mix!
The reality is, some people find this easy. Some struggle. And when things hit a rough patch, exercise is always the FIRST to go (when the reality is, it’s likely to be the thing to help the most!)
But when exercise becomes an easy, seamless, process — where you simply turn up, are organised by someone you ‘KLT’ (That’s KNOW, LIKE, & TRUST) then it’s so much easier:
– NOT to make excuses about ‘being busy’
– NOT putting things in the way
– BOOKING a workout into your busy diary
– MAKING weekly exercise non-negotiable
– SEEING your workouts as a hugely important part of your life
– NOT viewing them as an inconvenience
Yesterday, we were told that our sessions were valuable because of the “MENTAL OFFLOAD“, by a busy, professional couple who fully expected (they admitted) to simply come in for a short period, get a ‘kickstart’ and head off to do their own thing .
Instead, they found that they actually enjoyed NOT THINKING about what exercise to do, when, how, when to progress, when to pull back >>> It has all been done for them!
All they needed to do was turn up, listen, execute, feel good!
In other words, their health hasn’t added ANOTHER thing to their busy to-do list. It’s just EASY.
With endless thoughts clambering for space in our busy minds, when we can’t switch off, we have life adding pressure to our mental well-being …..
knowing your health is one less thing to think about can be a Godsend.
